Abstract
Amravati is a major district from Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. This tropical region shows extreme cold and extreme high temperatures during winter and summer seasons. The temperature reaches beyond a level of 45oC with lot of humidity during summer season. This climate favors to flourish mosquitoes breeding and in turn invites various mosquito borne diseases. Mosquito plays an important role in transmission of various diseases.
