Abstract

The present study investigated the role of Non Government Organizations (NGOs) in rural environmental protection in Mazandaran province. The study adopted a descriptive and correlation approach. The population for the study was 896 people. The stratified random sampling using the Cochran test was applied and 205 subjects were selected for the study.
